I've recently updated firmware on my MX300 750 using boot disk, because storage manager wasn't loading for me like for dozens of other people (which was apparently fixed with some win update). However in the storage executive it says now in red Firmware not available and shows error 302. As far as I remember previously it was just showing something else withoout any error even if you had the latest firmware. I'm not sure now if my firmware update was successful or not.

It may be something wrong with Storage Executive tool I guess. You can run odther disk tool that is capable of displaying formware revision. CrystalDiskInfo is what I use.

I got a new MX300 and the Storage Executive urges me to upgrade the firmware. Regardless of checking Live update or not, the software suggests there's a connection problem (no - I'm not behind a proxy).
What is worse is that I downloaded the bootable .iso and it also fails to upgrade the firmware giving the error message below.

After upgrading the firmware M0CR040, my boot times increased dramatically (unacceptably) and Windows score went from 7.8 to 7.7. When I attempt to upgrade to M0CR050 I get this scary error the same an this one pictured by another post. My system is Dell T3600 Sandy Bridge architecture on Win 7 Pro x64
