It would be nice if the firmware updates (ISO file) could support UEFI.
The reason is we install a lot of crucial SSDs and the latest systems don't support NON-UEFI boot.
Because the systems are blank, we can't use the windows firmware update tool.

I was communicating with one of the Crucial reps a while ago and was hoping to see them include UEFI support in their images, but they haven't posted any new images yet. I'm hoping they include UEFI support when they do as it is a simple process for them to add. Until they do I can provide you with instructions on how to create compatible Linux boot files which you can copy to the USB drive if you are interested. Once you have these files you should be able to use them with most existing Crucial .iso updaters currently available. There are several posts on these forums to do this in several ways with different levels of trust involved.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, but I've been extremely busy and haven't been able to test my instructions yet. FYI, Crucial released new firmware with UEFI boot for the MX300 & MX500 series. If you need to update older models, let me know and I will assist you.
