I'm not quite sure what you are attempting, but it sounds like you are trying to mount this drive perpendicular to the normal drive orientation of the drive bay. I'm assuming you are using some kind of adapter bracket made for this case. If you purchased an adapter bracket, they usually come with the necessary screws to install everything. Laptop hard drive screws such as these are used to attach the SSD to a standard mounting plate or adapter, but some systems may require a different type. Usually traditional 3.5" hard drive screws will be used to attach an adapter bracket into a 3.5" drive bay, but again it may depend on the bracket.
