I just received my SSD, and I was wondering if I have to register the product in order to use the warranty later. Or, will support just ask for the product information later if I need to report a problem?

You don't need to register it. They will ask you for the material number from the box though if you want to use the webform rather than talking to support for an RMA. A lot of people throw this away and then ask on here for their material number - which isn't a problem but may save you thee trouble of having to ask in the future if you keep it.
