Hi All,
My SSD MX100 worked fine 3 or 4 years but suddely became write-protected, no any utility (Windows nor Linux) could format or delete any partition on it.
Firmware is MU02.
Who could help to remove 'write protected' status or re-flash the firmware??

I have the same problem.
diskpart says:
DISKPART> attributes volume Read-only : No Hidden : No No Default Drive Letter: No Shadow Copy : No DISKPART> attributes volume clear readonly DiskPart has encountered an error: The media is write protected. See the System Event Log for more information.
Mbrfix says:
Function failed. Error 19: The media is write protected.
Event log NTFS says:
A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume E:. The exact nature of the corruption is unknown. The file system structures need to be scanned and fixed offline.

@mx100problem, If you can still access the MX100 I would suggest getting any files from it now if you don't have a recent backup.
Can you provide the SMART Attributes for the MX100 including the firmware version of the SSD? Make sure to remove the SSD serial number from any posts.

How about performing volume scan and repair? It looks like there may be some file system corruption and OS locked the drive in order to avoid further corruption I guess.
If you can access the data on the drive then data backup would be the first thing to do! Then you can try to scan the volume and look for a solution.

I tried many attempts to clean the partition, used some utilities in windows, linux even tried to erase the drive by mediaplayer. Some utilities told that process complete, even without errors, but when I restarted system I saw that nothing is changed!
Could ANYBODY from CRUCIAL have a look at this issue???
