Just installed the CT 1000P1 SSD8 into my Dell XPS8910. Downloaded and ran the current version of Storage Executive to no avail. Apparently, it does not yet support the P1. Any word on when we might expect a new version that will support the P1?

I've noticed the same thing on my Dell Inspiron 5842. I'm wondering if the Intel Rapid Storage software might be interfering, but it may just be that Storage Executive has a problem.

It does already support the P1. At least it can see mine in 3.60 64 bit.
I'm not sure where your IRST theory comes from (storage exec works with sata drives and IRST) but it is worth noting that if you have reason to suspect it that I don't have IRST installed on the Windows install with the P1...

Do you have RAID activated?

Not on this install, no. So it's using the MS sata driver.
On my previous install I had raid active and all my Crucial SSD's were seen by Storage Exec (none of them were in RAID arrays themselves)

I disabled the Intel Rapid Storage software which made no difference. I then changed RAID in the BIOS to ACHI, but the machine wouldn't boot. I changed back to RAID. After booting, Storage Executive saw the drive, but couldn't access all of its information and reported that there was no supported drive for any of the Storage Executive functions. While this is a little better, it is still pretty useless and just taking up disk real estate.

I have no RAID arrays either.

Intel RST driver 14.8.0.1042, CSE 3.60.082018.04. I can see P1 in CSE, its health status a SMART information.
