You shouldn't need a cable for a laptop. It looks to me like it'll just plug into the slot on the left of the bay with the numbers (121031) on it.

It looks like he's removed an existing single 2.5" hard drive then added some kind of converter card to fit three msata drives?

But you've bought the 2.5" model so it will just go straight in the 2.5" slot.

It's unclear from the picture what the bottom thing is.

Is there any bios edit or something like that ? Or do I simply plug the ssd, boot my pc on my bottable usb then install windows ?

There generally aren't that many BIOS settings on laptops since they tend to know what hardware is in them and don't need to provide options for compatiblity with legacy hardware.

The only setting that really matters (if you even have the choice) is to make sure the ATA transfer mode is AHCI rather than IDE/ATA.  If you don't have the option, I'd imagine it'll be AHCI anyway these days.  This setting affects drive performance.

Other than that - it's just the boot orders to play with so you can boot from that USB and then switch back to the drive afterwards.

I am in AHCI mode, I Installed ssd with success, booting time are crazy fast, but transfering file from HDD to SSD is slow https://cjoint.com/c/HFqxcaA5GN8

Glad you got it sorted.  That's around the right read speed for a 5400 RPM hard drive. Smiley Happy

Once every while, there is one unique "click sound" that comes from the ssd area, is that normal ?
