does crucial windows system scanner for SSDs check drivers

I recently went through the process on a new system to buy an SSD and used the recommended scanner to help me choose one that was compatible.

I am having problems with the one I purchased and have return that one under an RMA and am waiting for the replacment to arrive.

I have been advised by support that the problem I am having may be driver related.

My question here is does anyone know if the scanner checks to see if I have the correct, latest?, driver for the SSD that was identified as usuable in my system?

No.  It only checks hardware wise.  What motherboard you have.

The wrong driver wouldn't preclude you buying it - only that you needed to update the driver.  And there's so many of them and combinations of systems to determine which version is best for which system etc.
