The parts look genuine, but the packaging is not. This means the memory was repackaged at some point, so you likely purchased a used part, which wouldn't carry any warranty.

I would suggest you purchase memory from valid resellers such as Amazon, Newegg, B&H, CDW, etrc, or directly off of to ensure you're getting a genuine Crucial module. If you purchased memory second hand there is no way for even us to guarantee you purchased a new Crucial product.
