I was wondering if the 8GB ram ( http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=82E796F8A5CA7304 ) is compatible with the latest Apple MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz Intel Core i7 (15-inch DDR3) LATE -2011, which released like few days ago.
is this SSD ( http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=4BF91AF7A5CA7304 ) compatible with the Macbook Pro?

I have checked the memory specs of the new model on the Apple website & can confirm it is the same as the early 2011 version you found on the website. We should get the new one added to our database soon but in the meantime the parts on that link will be compatible. It will also support the M4 SSD, just make sure the drive has firmware version 0002 or above (it should ship with at least 0002 now anyway).

I have Apple MacBook Pro 2.0GHz Intel Core i7 (15-inch DDR3) Late-2011 [bought in early october]
and recently ordered 16GB kit (8GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module
I was wondering if my laptop is compatible or if I should return it and order the 8GB instead.
I'm afraid to ask the apple store because I feel they will tell me to get the 8GB from their website ($400).

I have checked that system for you and it does support 16GB no problem at all.
If you ordered the 16GB from Crucial but would now prefer to stick to 8GB then you can return it back to us for a refund within 45 days or purchase. Just contact our customer service team HERE.
