I recently ordered 16gb of Crucial RAM from amazon. I ordered the item with the following description "Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) SODIMM 204-Pin - CT2KIT102464BF160B".
I believe the RAM I received has the correct label but it isn't actually the correct product. This appears to be DDR2 rather than DDR3L. I've attached a photograph. Could anyone confirm this?

Thank you for your question. First of all, I’m sorry to hear that the Amazon reseller has sent you the wrong memory. I have had a look at the image and it does look like DDR2 memory. I would recommend that you contact Amazon who can arrange a return or exchange for you.
If you do have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask and I would be happy to help.

Just for your information I had exactly the same problem buying from Amazon for exactly the same part number. (In the UK, not sure about the other poster).
Amazon have accepted this as a return, but not sure if Amazon have received a bad batch. This was not purchased from an Amazon reseller, but from Amazon direct using their Prime Now service.
