I would like to upgrade my Mac mini 2018 (i5) from 8 gb (4+4) to 16gb.
1)Should i do it in one 16gb dimm or 2x8gb? (this is a question about dual channel or not)
2)what about single ranked or dual ranked?

Hello and thank you for your question. This system has two memory slots. Each slot will support up to 32GB of memory, for a maximum of 64GB. All the 8GB and 4 GB memory modules that we offer are single ranked. The 16GB memory modules are dual ranked memory modules. Using a matched pair of memory modules will usually yeld the best performance.

Yeah, for some reason the hyper link does not work for us either, but if you copy and paste the link it does work. I have forwarded the information to our community admin.
