Re: Programs crashing with new RAM installed

HI,

I have a Macbook Pro which specifications are here https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Apple/macbook-pro-%2813-inch-and-15-inch%2C-mi... . After using the system advisor from Crucial, I upgraded to 2X 8 gig sticks last week.

Before the upgrade, I never had a crash or "kernel panic" since I got the machine. But now It seems to crash if I am doing something that needs a lot of memory - photo editing, video editing, or having a few programs open at once. I have run the REMBER app to test the RAM and git the following error:

Could you inform me how to fix it? is there a problem of incompatibility or is any stick bad?

Thanks

Re: Programs crashing with new RAM installed

I would probably suggest starting with a NVRAM/PRAM reset to see if that helps.

Otherwise what's the actual CT# on the kit you purchased? We need to verify what exact memory you bought, to make sure it's a compatible part.
