I am adding 2GB more ram to my computer and when i tried my comp wont boot up and my cpu fan runs at full speed. I tested all the memory sticks they work fine my MB supports 4 GB so im not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated, oh and the memory stick are identical.

I fixed it
I went to bios then into Gennie Bios Setting and changed the DRAM power setting to 4.00 from 2.66 . I had read this on another web page from someone who had same problem.
Hope this helps someone

I ALSO DID THIS go to advanced bios features you will see OS select DRam 64 MB OS2 off. Turn this to ON or when you shut down the computer it wont boot.

i Found that i lowered my Dram voltage to 3.01 also changed Bios to max power usage now it starts ok without have to use rear power switch.
