I just got new 4GB DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) ram. But when I insert the RAM and start the system it doesn't start, rather gives blue error screen.
Kindly help me how to resolce it.

@whoisa_manThanks for contacting us today. I am sorry for the issues that you have experienced with your RAM. What is the full part number of your upgrade? This will be on the label and should be something like CT51264BF160B.C16F, etc. Having this information will help us determine if their is a compatability issue with the RAM. @whoisa_man Thanks for the reply. It looks like you did purchase the upgrade we would recommend for your system, so it is not a compatibility issue causing the problem. Have you already attempted the basic troubleshooting steps that I linked to? If not, I would try those first, so we may determine if it is one bad memory module causing the issue.
After attempting basic troubleshooting steps, I would recommend updating the BIOS. This system is older and it appears their is a BIOS update for it on Dell's site. However, updating the BIOS is done at your own risk and we can't offer any assistance with running the update.

I had already tried updated the BIOS before seeking for your help. But the module wasn't working.
I even tried to check whether the module is faulty or not but my system gets stuck when it starts checking memory with new module inserted (scheduling the memory checvk with old module).
So I had to forcefully shutdown the system. Since I tried my best to make the module work but nunfortunately it didn't work, so I've returned that module and my reseller will be sending the new module.
Hope the new stick works fine. In case if it doesn't I'll surly again get in touch with you guys and hoping for the resolution.

I got my new module today and still this one isn't working.
I tried all steps and did my best to make it work but unfortunately it's still not working.
Hoping for a quick reply and egtting it resolved.
