I have HP BS164 TU Laptop.
It has 4GB DDR4 Ram ( "SK hynix 4GB 1Rx16 PC4-2666V-SC0-11 HMA851S6CJR6N - VK No AC 1810" ).
I want to expand my RAM (keeping my old ram ) to 8 GB.
I found compatible RAMs for my laptop through Crucial website. There are two results.
I want to know, as my current SK hynix RAM is 1Rx16, should I use only X16 BASED Crucial RAM ?
Which one will be compatable with my existing RAM ?
What is the difference between X8 BASED "CT4G4SFS824A" & X16 BASED "CT4G4SFS624A" ?
Which one is better ?

Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the wait in response to your question. Since the original memory in your system is X16 based, you will want to stick with this same spec when purchasing new memory to get as close of a match as possible.
We can guarantee that our memory will work in your PC but do not have a way to guarantee that our memory will work with different branded sticks. Matching the specs of your old memory to new sticks will be the best way to attempt to get the memory working together. Most systems out there can mix different branded memory without issue, but we like customers to be aware that it is possible they may not work together in some rare cases. I will also leave you a link below that goes over memory rank and where these numbers come from. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
