Crucial M500 not recognized by WIndows 7 in RAID mode

Hello

I had already a Crucial SSD MX100 and just purchased a M500 with bigger capacity. But I was unable to make it recognized by Windows 7 in RAID mode - contrary to previous SSD.

I tried any combination but the SSD is only detected in AHCI mode.

My motherboard is a M5A97 (AMD SB950 controller) and it seems to be a known issue.

Thank you to provide a FIX and BIOS update for this problem.

A BIOS update would have to come from your motherboard manufacturer.  Have you checked whether there is one?  I dunno about AMD but with Intel boards a BIOS update could also include a RAID bios update.
