Crucial MX100 error when initializing

I recently bought a Crucial MX100. However when I go to initilaize it in Windows I keep getting the blue screen error IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE_ERROR. I am using a Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP board and I already have another SSD installed and the bios is set to AHCI so I can't see what might be causing the error.

Can anyone help?

Re: Crucial MX100 error when initializing

I would probably check for BIOS update and if the proper AHCI driver is in use. You can also consider plugging in the drive to different port and/or with different SATA cable.
