We have just released the Crucial Storage Executive which can be downloaded from the following link:
The Crucial Storage Executive comes with the following features:
Part of the functionality of Storage Executive includes firmware upgrades and this initial release of the software included access to the latest available firmware for Crucial SSD's. In some cases, an equivalent Independent ISO image may not be available yet. Our customers that prefer to use an ISO upgrade or must do so due to their operating system are very important to us and we intend to have Updated ISO images available soon.
Please feel free to use this thread to provide us with feedback on the new Crucial Storage Executive.

Thanks for the windows software, but I don't have any windows right now (except for my work pc and I don't own that one). I might setup a Windows 10 installation in a VM at some stage... but I'm guessing this dosen't work when windows is on a VM.
What is needed is the Mac version, because almost every day there are threads like this:
Some models of Mac Mini have a 2.5 inch drive and are not delivered with an optical drive, so the iso image installer doesn't work. Some people have removed the optical drive because the drive failed, or perhaps the space was needed for some other reason. There are various USB installer methods, but these have a low success rate and only appear to work on certain models of Mac.
Please advise when the Mac version of Storage Executive is coming.

No Drives Found
No supported drives were found in the system.
This may be because you are running on Windows with all your drives configured in a RAID array, which is currently not supported.
Using a MX100 512GB in AHCI mode on a Windows 7 x64 PC (so downloaded the 64bit version of Storage Executive). Tried Firefox and IE.

Supported SSDs ======================= * M500 * M550 * MX100 * MX200 * BX100
Are M4's planned to be supported?
Software can see all my drives but can not detect a firmware update is available for the M4's. Currently on 040h. 070h is available.

Unfortunately, we have no plans to support M4 drives with this new tool. However, you may always update your drives firmware using the link here. This link will always be kept up to date. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Aside from the ridiculous implementation as a web application, why does this ship with a massively outdated version of Java? Installing this would be a security risk given the known exploits for a JRE this old.
For reference, the current version is Java 8 Update 25:

It does? It didn't appear to for me. I do already have Java but only the 32 bit version and I installed the 64 bit Crucial softwatre...
Oh I see, it uses a copy from its own folder rather than installing one. That shouldn't be much of a security risk should it (as long as your trust the Crucial software you just installed*) as nothing else will be using it? I have other programs that do that with ancient copies of Java.
*and you are giving it admin permission so...

Ok so it doesn't support the M4's. I was able to update my firmware via ISO.
Does the software plan to support your future SSD releases? In other words will this software continue to be developed into the future?
