You might need to give some more info:
What sort of pc are you updating?
Does it have just one drive - a Crucial M550 ?
What version of Windows?
Are you trying to update using the Storage Executive software (or using the CDROM/USB methods)?
Is there no way you can interrupt the boot and select Windows?
Since it appears to be stopping you from using your pc, if you don't get a quick response on these forums, you might want to contact the Crucial support:

I have a toshiba sattelite c55
for now only the m550 ssd , i will recieve a hd caddy today so i can remove my dvd rom
and work with ssd and a hdd in one laptop.
i have made a clean windows 8 instal , and used the storage executive software .
i cant stop the boot i had to turn of my laptop yesterday after it rebooting all night .
this morning put it back on and still the same thing .
I realy dont know how to interrupt the boot
I have contacted the support but no reaction yet
