How to use Crucial Laptop install kit to restore selected files from NTFS to Mac

Hi, I will soon be getting a Macbook Pro to replace my Windows laptop. I have cloned my NTFS disk image to an SSD drive using the laptop install kit. Will I be able to read that disk from my Mac (using the SATA-USB cable provided) so that I can copy just the files I want? Obviously I won't want to copy the whole disk.

Thanks

(apologies if this is a ridiculously easy topic but my Googling has drawn a blank so far).

Hi the oldsmithy,

Thanks for contacting us today. You will actually need to transfer the files you want to a exFAT drive.  You could then transfer the files from there onto the Mac. As is, the Mac will not be able to read the data and will ask you to reformat the drive.
