I don't think you need to register it. Perhaps you might want to scan or take a digital camera picture of your receipt and upload it to dropbox or somewhere like that. Then you have proof of ownership in case it's needed, but I don't think you need to register it.

You don't have to register your drive with us. Please keep your original proof of purchase as your warranty starts from the purchase date. The MX100 comes with s 3 year warranty and if you do ever have to contact us you can so using the links in my signature.
