Hello everyone, This is my first post in the forums. Below is my issue. When I initially built my system back in April 2014, I bought these (2) M500 240GB SSDs to put into a RAID 0. I was never able to get it to work, and so I figured there must be a compatibility issue between these SSDs and Windows 10 Pro. I just bought two MX 500 500GBs SSDs and put them into a RAID 0, and windows had no problems seeing them and registering the RAID. Of note, RAIDXpert also doesn't see the two older M500 drives when the SATA ports are in RAID mode. It can see them in IDE and in AHCI, when in ports 7/8, but not RAID. I updated the older M500s tp the latest firmware I could get from Storage Exec, which at the time of this writing is MU05, but that didn't make any difference. The older M500 Drive Model having issues: Crucial_CT240M500SSD1 Crucial_CT240M500SSD1 I am honestly pretty baffled at this point. I have been building computers for over 20 years and never ran into a problem like this. Before anyone asks, yes I have tried all of the latest drivers available from AMD, both SATA only and SATA and NVMe, and I have used the older drivers that I used when I first built out my HDD RAID. Please also note that this time, when I re-installed windows 10 Pro, windows saw the MX500 SSD RAID all on its own, I didn't have to load any drivers, same in regards to my HDD RAID. Even with that, no Windows installer, and windows itself, will not see my M500s in a RAID or if the port is configured to RAID mode. Only IDE and AHCI.
