@targetbsp Other SMART monitor tools (never used this one) have just taken my word for it when it when I've passed them the SMART layout. They haven't required Microns input. Mind you, in the past I think the document did say it supported the drive I claimed it did. :D smartmontools is the tool used by basically every unix/unix-like OS these days. It's also the basis for a few other tools on OS-X and Windows. You might even say it's pretty much the reference implementation of SMART data collection. What I'm basically looking for is something like Intel and other drive manufacturers supply - a datasheet (not a whitepaper or marketing document, but something that's got full drive specs, which normally include all the SMART parameters).
